John O’Mahony is a Mixer known for his work with artists such as Vance Joy, Sara Bareilles, Coldplay, Metric and The Cribs.
John moved from his native Ireland to his current home of New York City to work for some of the city’s top studios before spending 5 years engineering for renowned producer Andy Wallace.
Since then John has worked mostly out of New York and Los Angeles while also making records around the world in cities like Nashville, Copenhagen, London and Toronto. In 2012 Electric Lady invited John to take up residence in a custom built mix suite in their historic Greenwich Village Studio which he now calls home.
Career highlights for John include Album Of The Year Grammy nominations for Sara Bareilles’ The Blessed Unrest (2014) Coldplay’s Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (2009) and Juno Awards for Metric’s Fantasies (2009) and Synthetica (2012).
